With over 20 years of building and design work, I have the knowledge, experience, skills, and contacts that will ensure that your project is completed to your expectations, within budget, on time, and handled in a professional manor. Growing up in the Detroit area during the 60's and 70's my passion was building everything from cars to boats to houses to houseboats!

What I learned about fit and finish, material selection, and technique has proven to be invaluable in my profession today. My experience with many contractors over the years in southern California is that they lack integrity, attention to detail, and follow through. "Little" things like insulation and faulty workmanship behind the walls are left for others to fix years later. Some have the knowledge and skills but simply cut corners. Some just don't care. Many actually lack the knowledge and skills altogether.

Our team at California Building and Design consists of skilled craftsmen and licensed subcontractors who have been on board for many years. There is no turnover or substitution of subcontractors when we commit to your project. You will know them by name and trade throughout the duration of your project. You will be apprised of all licenses, insurance, and workman’s compensation information before any work begins. An elected foreman is on site on a daily basis every day that work is being performed and is available for your input, questions, and concerns.
